About the project
Existing access control was over 20 years old, unsupported and difficult to expand.
To prepare the building for new tenants in a short time, a complete modernization was needed — without extensive intervention in the building.

The project involved the modernization of 12 doors in an office building with existing infrastructure. By reusing the cabling, we were able to deliver a faster and more cost-effective upgrade, while also providing the building with mobile access, easier administration and better control.

Solution
Teren delivered a complete upgrade to a modern, cloud-based solution:

All existing cabling (10-pair) was reused.
By using the Single Box 6 Pair, the installation was standardized on all doors — without the need for rerouting cables.
Result
The project was delivered and put into operation in 14 days, without the need for new cabling. The customer received a modern access control solution with simpler administration, a better user experience and a facility that is ready for further growth.
